Introduction
1. Prosthodontics is one of the branches of dentistry that deals with the replacement of missing teeth and the associated soft and hard tissues by prosthesis e.g. Dentures, Partial dentures (both fixed & removable), crowns, Implant supported prosthesis, Maxillofacial prosthesis and Gerodontics.
2. The Post graduate FCPS II training with currently 10 post-graduate trainees is also carried out in the department under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Sajid Naeem.
3. At postgraduate level the trainees are supervised to gain mastery in area of Gerodontology, Maxillofacial Prosthodontics, Complex full mouth rehabilitation cases, TMJ disorders/Occlusal dysfunctioning, Fixed partial dentures, Complete dentures, Cast partial dentures.

Vice Principal (Dentistry) & Head of Department Prosthodontics
Prof. Dr. Sajid Naeem is the Vice Principal, College of Dentistry, Lahore Medical & Dental College and designated as the Head of Prosthodontic Department. He graduated from Bolan University of Medical and Health Sciences Quetta and done his Post-graduation in the subject of Prosthodontic from College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan and holds certificate in Medical Teaching by University of Health Sciences (CMT 2016).
He has an immaculate teaching experience in Prosthodontics and runs Under-graduate and Post-graduate teachings.
Prof. Sajid Naeem is a Post-graduate supervisor for both FCPS and MCPS Prosthodontics. He is not only an examiner of College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan but also a paper setter/examiner/accessor in University of Health Sciences Lahore. He is an Inspector in Pakistan Medical and Dental Council and College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan. As a Member of Board of Review Committee he serves Journal of College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan and Journal of Isra of Medical University. He has 22 research papers to his credit.
